Old San Juan

We have been to Old San Juan many times. I have taken Becky & gone with my family many times. We usually take the ferry from Catano and spend the afternoon in the castles, shops, enjoying a cold Pira Agua, flying kites, and eating yummy food. It is always a nice place to visit! These pictures are ones Holly took on She & Tally's Old San Juan adventure.

The Spaniards would load their boats with these blue bricks to help weigh the boat down for the trip from Spain to the Americas. As the ship would pass Puerto Rico they would dump the bricks like garbage. The Puerto Ricans took all the bricks and paved the entire city.

My favorite picture! The view from the restroom in El Morro.

Beautiful cemetary next to El Morro over looking the ocean.

Coolest solo adventure ever. I want a bathroom like that one day.
