Mike celebrated his birthday yesterday. In teenager like fashion he took the day off work, slept in, and showered about 3pm. He seemd quite happy with his state in life.
Mike took Aly shopping for shin guards. While shopping he told her to stand still so he could demonstrate the reason for shin guards. Naturally Aly wanted to try out the reason for shin guards on her Dad so when he wasn't ready she held a shin guard to him & kicked. She totally missed. This story reminds me of Heather at Sophie's birthday party after swinging & missing the pinata she slammed Timothy in the shin with the bat. She quickly and emotionlessly responed "sorry Tim" and wound up for another swing at the pinata.
Later Mike and I went out and celebrated his birthday at Clash of the Titans. We both enjoyed the show and enjoyed a minute without the girls.

I really need to make one of those birthday calender thingys like Alicia has. I just need to quit fighting it.
