I love the 4th of July! Such a fantastic reason to celebrate! It doesn't get any better than Freedom! I am blessed to live where I am free to choose who I worship, what I wear, how my kids are raised and the list goes on and on. Every day I use the freedoms I have been blessed with just because of where I was born.
But Freedom isn't Free. I only know a few who are fighting our country's cause right now, my cute cousin Brad, Margo's man Dave, and Holly's brother Jeremy. But sooooo many are fighting the fight right now, my gratitude and heart goes out to them & their families.
To celebrate we went to the Fireworks Jubilee in El Dorado Hills. We enjoyed the live music, dancing, & street vendors, It was such a great atmosphere. After dark a local girl sang The Star Spangled Banner, which turned into a huge sing along. It felt amazing & brought a little tear to my eye. I was proud to be celebrating with strangers who felt the same way I did about our country.

AMEN! I can never make it through the Star Spangled Banner without bawling my eyes out because of gratitude for all the sacrifices made for me and the freedoms I enjoy because of it. Miss you!

There are few things that make me sincerely emotional and grateful. Pondering over our freedoms and all the sacrifices that people have made in our behalf is one of them. I know that Chris is the same.
When did you guys move to California? We're practically neighbors. :)
