This past week Heather was "Star of the week." Each day she got to take something different to share with the class. She chose to share lots of pictures, her favorite book series Ready Freddy, her barbie bed made of legos, and even chocolate chip cookies for the whole class. I love the self portrait in the middle!

I love it when teachers do this. There is no better way to boost a child's self confidence than by letting them be a spotlight. I remember being spotlighted when I was in Kindergarten. I was in heaven!
Those kids in her class are super lucky to have been able to eat those cookies that come out of the Cahoon kitchen! Yummy!
She's totally the most popular girl now! :) Give her a squeeze for me!
THAT is one serious star! holy smokes they dont take there star of the week casually, its a pretty serious devotion. love the self portrait!
