I took a page out of Becky's book. Becky believes in birthday weeks, months, or years... whatever she needs on any given day. So the girls & I gave Mike a birthday weekend.
I took Mike to BJ's Friday night to celebrate him growing older & wiser too! He just laughed when I said I was paying. Then he asked if I was paying from our account! Not hardly! I am a cash only kind of girl!
Saturday morning we enjoyed a birthday breakfast. Thanks Mike for making it! We both know you are the better cook. The girls loved the waffles!!! Between Conference sessions we got a few things done around the house and Mike kept saying how weird it was to sit and not have a million things to do! We loved seeing his face! After Priesthood session the girls insisted he unwrap gifts. I think the highlight was the slippers, who knew!
Sunday Mike enjoyed his birthday lunch! Yummo Milinesa & Alfredo Pasta. He got a break from the kitchen & I worked my bootie off! Sunday night we had a few friends over for HOT COOKIE NIGHT! The party just went on & on!
