French Meadows

July 6th we had the opportunity to go camping with some friends. We went to French Meadows. It is inside Tahoe National Forest. And my oh my is it beautiful!!!

The girls found a tree that was growing side ways out of the ground. They taught all the kids to use it as a catapult. Safety was not the major concern.
The lake was beautiful! We had a blast playing in the freezing water.

This is my friend Jacille. The water was so cold she wanted a picture of her all the way in it to prove she did it. No shocker here but after taking the picture I kept having her wait in the water while acting like I was talking a picture. After about 1 minute of freezing her bootie off, she finally caught on. What are good friends for??? You know I would have done the same to any of you! :)

We had the BEST time camping with the Wilson's We are super grateful they invited us! I kept commenting how many hours are in the day when you get up with the sun and go down with the sun! I have decided it works great though! Plenty of time to nap, play, eat, and build fires!
