Friday the girls & I joined Angela & her kids for an ADVENTURE! We drove about an hour away to Placerville. After driving down this crazy windy partially dirt road we came to a suspension bridge. We grabbed our lunches and followed the Santos family down the hill toward the bridge. Then Angela starts climbing down. As we follow down the side of a ravine, and into the water I started laughing! A bit confused by hiking up stream in a very big stream I said "What are we doing!" Angela just laughed and said we were hiking in a stream till we get to the cliffs where we would jump. As we keep moving forward one by one the kids are slipping on the mossy rocks and ending up neck high in COLD water. I was a bit concerned about our lunches, my cell phone, & camera getting wet, not the children they were happy as could be! So we ate the lunches and stashed the back packs. It is a good thing to because I was the next to slip! We finally found the cliffs, the kids jumped, and we floated/ hiked down stream until we were back where we started.
