Wednesday evening while doing the dishes I accidentally bumped my wedding ring into the sink while rinsing dishes and I didn't notice. (I usually remove my ring when doing dishes because I don't like the wet under finger feel after I have dried my hands.) I discovered my ring after a couple runs of the garbage disposal. Heather was sitting on the counter talking to me when I pulled my ring out. Poor Heather's eyes were soooo huge, I thought she would cry. I felt terrible telling Mike what happened A. because I was sad about my ring & B. everyone knows Mike is a sentimental guy. When I showed him the ring I got several comments. All were said with a smirk on his face and a shake of his head. Here is a run down:
*If you want new jewelry just ask!
*You have the worse track record with jewelry.
(this comment is because of all the lost jewelry I should own)
*You really trashed this thing!
Gratefully insurance covered it & I will have a new ring as soon as I make up my mind!
