Capitola

 We had a wonderful Memorial Day break!  

We pulled the girls from school a couple days early and went to New Brighton State Beach/campground in Santa Cruz.  We quickly learned that the Mormons invade this spot every year.  It is like the best ward party ever!  We took bikes and the girls quickly joined the campground biker gang!

The purple glove Heather is wearing is protecting the stitches Heather needed the second day of vacation.  Heather was whittling a stick and cute Trevor decided to help her whittle the same stick.  Rather than whittling the stick her whittled Heather's finger.  OUCH!

 Behind the dancing fools is a restaurant. The second story a band was playing really great music.  Aly was too cool to dance with me, but Heather did!  Mike & I took the opportunity to embarrass the girls by doing a little swing to get everyone started!  Oh were the girls MORTIFIED!!!  Heather walked away and Aly just shook her head and turned around!

Our neighbors had a huge Yahtzee tournament.  Mike, Aly, & I were invited to participate. 

 I won the winners bracket, but then choked at the end!!!  I lost twice in a row and had to settle for 2nd place!  Such a fun idea!!!

 I love songs around the camp fire!  I love when Mike brings his guitar and everyone joins in.  This year even Aly helped out with the music.  Aly played a sang couple Talyor Swift songs while the older kids sang along too!

This may be another tradition for our family!!!  Such great memories with our girls!!!
