School started for these beautiful girls Aug. 20th. While they were sad to see the lazy days of summer go Aly & Heather were both anxious to see how this new school year would unfold.
Aly has started 7th grade. Yep! She is officially a Sevie! Aly is in the Rubicon Academy and has P.E. & Band every day. Trombone is her instrument of choice this year. Aly plays all positions on her soccer team Flower Power, enjoys Piano lessons, and is taking an acting class. All of this on top of Youth activities at church and about 2 hours of home work each night. Aly is a bit over scheduled but oh so happy...minus the homework! Plus, Aly is a fabulous babysitter! This girls makes serious $$$.
We love our Sevie!
Heather has started 5th grade and for the first time is the only Cahoon on campus! Mrs Buback is Heather's 5th grade teacher. Heather plays forward & midfield on her soccer team the Starbursts. Heather is also running on the cross country team at school. Heather just started her first 2 instruments, she is trying out the piano and the flute. Church youth group also keeps this gal busy. Gratefully Heather's homework takes about 15 minutes and then the afternoon is all hers!
For the first time I have involved myself & the girls in carpools.
Oh my! What a life changer!!! I am loving it!
Mike & I are so proud of how hard the girls work at school and all the many extra activities they involve themselves in. We are blessed! Here's to another great school year!!!

Love it! They're getting too old. We need to come visit.... but Jared doesn't get time off, so I guess that means I need to come visit! Keep those girls locked up, they're too pretty.
