We haven't posted for a bit....I guess the camera's been on vacation. Updates on us...Alyson has 1 more week of summer and then off to 2ND grade. She met her teacher last week and was very content. Apparently, one of the 2ND grade teachers is "strict" according to the kids and Aly was relieved to not get the "strict one". We have been very blessed to have great teachers and small class sizes so far and hope it continues (cross our fingers)...it also helps to have Alicia very involved in the classrooms, spending several hours a week reading to the kids and helping out the teacher. Alicia is a super-involved mom!
Heather gets 2 more weeks and then will start afternoon kindergarten with Aly's old teacher...who is really good with kids! Heather also loves to go to the pool. I'm glad Alicia convinced me to get the summer pool pass at Steiner's because it has been worth every $ and minute we go. It is funny to see Heather put on her goggles and belly flop every time. She loves to show me how long she can hold her breath and kick across the pool. Kids adapt so quick to new environments when encouraged.
On Saturday, we took our annual trip to Park City to ride the Alpine slide. We rode the tram half way up the mountain and then screamed down over 3,000 feet of track to the bottom. Aly and Mom took their time but Heather and I broke all of our previous records. I have a fitness test rescheduled for the 27th, and then we will just have the back ground check to finish...we are getting anxious to finish this leg of the journey. See you soon!

So excited things are going great. The pairs on the tram don't surprise me a bit. Good luck on your test! We'll miss you this weekend.
I love how different Aly and Heather are in terms of "dare-devilishness" Its been a rocking summer- thank you SO much for helping out with Tally so much. We owe you guys one, big time!
